Trish Wadsworth-Bell
Client Liaison Team
Client Liaison Officer
In my work as a Client Manager at First2Care, part of my role is to assist our clients to understand their funding, assist them to manage their budget effectively while ensuring their invoices are paid on time. I get a lot of job satisfaction when I can assist someone to achieve a positive outcome for themselves. I really enjoy connecting with people - I am a bit of a talker - so networking is just part of who I am.
Personally I enjoy this role as it provides me with the flexibility of work-life balance I am looking for at this stage of my life. I have a small home-based business teaching people to sew and I run weekly classes in the community with the occasional one-day workshops. I have an array of eclectic hobbies ranging from medieval styles crafts such as using a drop spindle or weaving on an inkle loom to modern couture embroidery, and I also have a passion for painting portraits.
I have been a long-standing member of a re-enactment group; we are based in the 15th Century, as traders of the silk road, so I get to hang out in costume at the yearly medieval festivals that are held in and around Brisbane. I play the darbuka and Djembe drums with my grandson and I have recently taken up crafting my own alcohol, and yes family and friends have been used as taste testers of my experiments.
