WHICH PORTALS CAN I USE?
The NDIA provides two official participant portals: myNDIS and myplace. Both are accessed through myGov account linked to the NDIS. Which one you use depends on the system your current plan was created in. If First2Care manages your funding, you can also use the First2Care portal. It shows available information about your plan-managed budget, invoices and payments. It complements, rather than replaces, your official NDIS participant portal.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN BENEFITS OF USING A PARTICIPANT PORTAL?
-
Budget and spending tracking. You can review available budget information to understand how your funding is being used. The my NDIS participant portal shows your current budget and remaining balance, while myplace provides plan details, including your support budget and funding report.
-
Invoice and payment status. See which invoices have arrived, what they were for, and whether the provider has been paid.. If the status is unclear, contact your plan manager.

-
Easier record keeping. Having budget, invoice, payment information together available through a portal can make it easier to review your financial information in one place. However, having a portal should not be treated as a complete record of every document relating to your supports. Keep relevant documents, such as service agreements, separately where needed.
-
Access for people who support you. With your consent, a nominee or support coordinator can view relevant information. Nominees and child representatives must sign in to the NDIA portals with their own myGov account, not yours. Keep your sign-in details private rather than sharing them with someone else.
-
Questions raised sooner. Reviewing your available budget and invoice information gives you an opportunity to notice unfamiliar charges or a lower-than-expected balance. If something needs to be explained contact your plan manager rather than waiting until the end of your plan.
-
Mobile accessibility. The official NDIS participants portals are accessed through myGov using a supported browser. The myNDIS app provides another way to view your plan an budget information from a compatible dvice. You can also access First2Care's portal through browser on your mobile device.
