• Replacement supports the NDIS may fund under specific rules

To be funded, a support must meet the reasonable and necessary criteria:​

• Directly linked to your disability needs

• Helps you work toward your goals

• Value for money and effective

• On the NDIS support list or pre-approved under special pathways

Before the NDIA or a plan manager pays a claim:​

• The support must align with a funded item in your plan

• The service must be on the funded list (or approved under replacement)

• Invoices must meet exact invoicing standards and include valid information​
