Your plan manager handles the financial side of your NDIS plan. They pay your providers, process your invoices, track your budget across all three funding categories (Core Supports, Capacity Building, and Capital Supports), and make sure every claim is lodged correctly with the NDIA.  

And here is the part that surprises almost everyone the first time they hear it:  

Plan management is funded separately by the NDIA, under a support category called Improved Life Choices (Capacity Building, Category 14). It does not come out of your other supports. Not a single dollar. You get everything in your plan, plus a professional managing all the financial admin for you at no cost to you.
