My last role prior to starting with First2Care was in the Payments team with NDIS. I was responsible for investigating self-managed, agency-managed and plan managed payment claims submitted for payment. Having recently joined First2Care, currently I am in the Investigations team reviewing Clients’ payment claims. Whilst I have a solid understanding of the payments process, I have discovered there is a lot more to learn but working in a team who are always willing to help is making the transition easy.

The assistance that the NDIS gives to support its participants, some who possibly would not have much hope without it, is definitely life changing. In the past I have spent some time volunteering with the Queensland Police Service, and in schools with kids who lived in foster care, and have also studied. My spare time is with family and while trying to remain active, my daughter and I get together by going to her dance lessons, and learning the basics of sewing.
